Basic volunteering duties include walking through high-traffic areas, watching for little ones who may be lost or in need of help, assisting them to safety, handing out water, and showing kindness and care to everyone you meet.

Requirements!
Volunteer Requirements:
• You must have a clean Criminal Record Check (CRC)
• You must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• You must present valid identification (passport, driver’s licence, or birth certificate)
Any costs associated with obtaining required checks will be reimbursed at the end of the event
• Reimbursement is provided only if all checks come back clear and the volunteer completes a minimum of 8 hours
• Volunteers under the age of 16 do not require a Vulnerable Sector Check; they must provide a CRC and written permission from a parent or guardian
Kid Connect conducts interviews prior to each event to ensure volunteers are the right fit for our team.
